Jenny à la Mode

I am a digital artist and illustrator behind this unreal world called Maison Lonelyhearts. My work is inspired by my childhood in 80s and 90s Southern California, my Japanese and Chinese heritage, playing with Barbie and My Little Ponies and of course all things "kawaii”! I currently reside in Paris, France, with my adorable kitty and creative muse or shall I say “mews”, Zippy Mc Lovin.

My love for art began when I was little, spending countless afternoons with my grandmother who taught me how to draw and watercolor. This led me to pursue a career in and earn my degree in Painting and Art History from Boston University.

I'm find inspiration by digging through the fleamarkets of Paris for vintage inspiration! I can never get enough of groovy old books, magazines, and packaging from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I love visiting a good art exhibit or museum and exploring the artistic intricacies of Japanese woodblock prints and Art Nouveau's organic
